Startoholics is a network for entrepreneurs, startups, investors, designers and programmers to find co-founders and to support startups - especially in early stages. With Startoholics we want to motivate founders to build new startups, connect talents locally, develop ideas collaboratively and help startup teams to realize their ideas. Startoholics is build on xomni - our social semantic network.
xomni is a semantic social network where specific relations can be created between persons, products, things, organizations, etc. This enables you to create pages about your interests or contacts and describe your relationship with them.
xomni was developed by Semantic Technologies and is offered as an open web platform as well as a platform for companies.
The idea for xomni was conceived in several research projects and is based upon ideas and techniques from the areas semantic web, semantic wikis, semantic work environments.
Our platform is currently running on one server hosted on the Server4You Cloud. It uses version 0.8.4 of xomni.
